Keren Parker FCCA
Director
Keren began her career in financial management, leading finance teams for a range of small and medium sized businesses across the construction, telecoms and civil engineering sectors. This experience allowed her to develop strong commercial insight, strategic thinking and analytical skills, before moving into practice in 2008 when she qualified as an ACCA accountant. A life-changing event inspired Keren to take the leap into business ownership, and in 2015 she founded PPT. Today, she supports clients with accounts production, taxation, compliance, management accounting and business advisory services. She also provides bespoke Financial Director support for businesses that need strategic financial guidance beyond traditional accountancy services. Keren is passionate about helping businesses grow, and takes great satisfaction in seeing her clients achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Keren loves spending time with her family and animals, and enjoys concerts, comedy and her garden.
Jill Palmer MCIPP
Payroll and Tax
Jill has had a varied career, starting in banking, then moving to computer programming at the Home Office on the finger print team of the Police National Computer. She went on to programming for TSB computer centre on their ATM cash machine team. Jill then joined her family retail business, undertaking all things financial and gaining invaluable knowledge in how to run a successful business, before taking a career break to bring up her children. In 2002 she joined a firm of accountants, where she specialised in payroll and personal taxation. Whilst at this firm, she met Keren and they worked alongside each other for almost ten years, before Jill made the move to join Keren at PPT in 2018.
In her spare time Jill enjoys spending time with family and friends, and enjoys theatre, restaurants and reading in her garden.
Dawn Bibby
Bookkeeper
Dawn began her career at Gatwick Airport, where she worked as ground staff, responsible for passenger check in data. She went on to join her family business, where she worked her way up to become manager of a busy retail shop, learning all the skills needed to run it, including human resource management, supplier negotiation, stock management, customer liaison, and everything finance, including ensuring the profitability of the shop. Following a career break to raise her children, Dawn took the opportunity to work for a school, supporting boarding students in every aspect of their lives whilst they were away from home. When this opportunity came to an end in 2023, Dawn joined PPT as a part time data entry clerk, and has trained to be a bookkeeper.
In her spare time Dawn loves her garden, walking her dogs and the theatre.
Steve Parker
Part-time confidential document logistics and trainee bookkeeper
Steve has spent much of his career working in the farming industry, both in agricultural contracting, and later as a dairy farm herd manager, dealing with all aspects of animal husbandry. He went on to become a machinery repair technician for a large commercial grounds-maintenance company, using the skills he developed whilst working with farm machinery. He worked his way up the ranks to become workshop manager, leading and training a team of 5 technicians. He left this job to go solo, and is now a commercial grounds maintenance contractor, and garden and agricultural machinery engineer, working alongside his part time role at PPT. At PPT, Steve’s practical background and methodical approach make him a valued member of the team, where he is responsible for the secure handling and management of confidential client documentation, ensuring information is transferred safely and efficiently. He is also expanding his skills by training in bookkeeping.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and can often be found tinkering in his workshop.
